My name is Bijan Benjamin, I’m a 27 year-old filmmaker from Cologne / Germany. On this website you can find a few samples of my work and you can contact me via e-mail here.
At the moment I'm developing my projects "Caught", "Dropwise" and "Time". Also I'm preparing my new short film "Fruit Flies".
In 2009 I've been working on distributing my film "Murat B. - Lost in Germany" which was presented at the Council of the German film schools, Berlin 2009, supported by the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
In 2008 my film "Halil" was presented at the Duesseldorf Student Film Festival and Bavarian Televion showed my films "The Confession", "Golden Goal" and "A Time To Make Friends" in its program "Suedwild".
In 2007 I've been producing my first feature film "The Cell" in cooperation with Hans W. Geissendoerfer, which has been selected for the Festival des Films du Monde Montréal, as well as the Hof International Film Festival.
The film is available on DVD and part of the edition "New German Cinema".
